How To Apply Kcb Foundation Scholarship

Step 1) Obtain the application form

  • Visit your nearest KCB branch and obtain a physical copy of the scholarship application form
  • Alternatively, go to kcbgroup access the KCB Foundation section and download the scholarship application form

Step 2) Fill out the application form

  • Fill out the application form in full with accurate personal details, including full names, county, date of birth, KCPE performance/marks, details of the secondary school you have been admitted to etc.

  • Acquire certified copies of your birth certificate, KCPE results slip, admission letter to secondary school, parents’ income tax returns and attach them securely to your application form.

Step 4) Submit the application

  • Submit the comprehensive application comprising of the accurate application form and all relevant supporting documents before the stipulated February deadline.
  • Applications submitted beyond the deadline may not be accepted by the KCB Foundation

Step 5) Attain prescribed cut-off marks

  • To qualify beyond this stage, you must have attained over 380 marks out of 500 (above 75%) in your KCPE examinations. This cut-off must be met first.

Step 6) Attend county interviews

  • Shortlisted applicants will be invited for county-level interviews by KCB Foundation selection panels based on submitted applications.
  • If called, prepare to talk about yourself, interests, future aspirations and leadership abilities. Dress professionally for the panel interview.

Further, over the last 5 years, over 200 scholars have successfully graduated from university with degrees across multiple disciples including medicine, engineering, arts and more.
